The Trading Place, created nearly 8 years ago as dealers in second hand books and furniture, today we are now stock Palma´s largest selection of English books. Dealing in New and second hand books, we also offer a book ordering service and you can exchange your books bought in our shop for half price on your next purchase. Our books are sorted in categories, so if you are a “non-fiction” reader, just go along to the “non fiction section “and start browsing………
We now also stock stock Spanish and German books.

Our Staff are multi-lingual, Nicky, the owner speaks English and Spanish, while Eve, her assistant speaks English, German and Spanish. Both are experienced in the book trade and can help you with selecting a book that you will enjoy.

We still have a small furniture section, dealing in some interesting bits of furniture, so if you are setting up home on the island, do pop in as there are loads of bargains to be had.

At the back of the shop we have a small room which is always kept locked, here we store bags for those of you who are away fro the island for a short period of time, so if you are away for the summer or winter, we can offer somewhere safe to store your stuff.
